I forgot to do a whole week of math because I was watching gotham on netflix and then I went to a wedding. Oops.
I think I'm kind of learning some new things now, which is nice. I don't think i'm going to need most of this, though. If I do need it, I'm not sure I'll recognize an opportunity for a math problem in the wild.
Like we learn it, but we don't always know what the real-life application is while we're learning it? so i don't think I'll know when to use it. I know how to measure a triagular wall now, but I still have no idea what factoring is in real life, and that makes it harder for me to remember.

I just want to learn things and that's what college should be for, but they're making it too hard. Learning isn't hard.
It seems like schools think they need to make things more difficult than they actually are so that people will take them seriously or something? I don't know why
but it just makes school not about learning stuff and about like grades and homework instead.
Grades are supposed to measure how much you've learned. not everyone learns the same way but everyone has to show that they learned something by doing the exact same thing, and it turns into everyone just learning how to do that thing instead of the things they need to know.

I did math for like 8 entire hours one day. it was terrible but I mostly finished the little pie pieces I needed to.
